It all started with the daily routine of forgetting my lunch at home.
Not only was I going broke and hungry, my wife was not too happy with
all the leftovers piling up. Since I never left home without my wallet,
I decided to place a "lunch" sticky note on it as a reminder. That
scrap of paper came in handy for other notes during the day, but I thought,
"Wouldn't it be nice to also have a pen?" That was the beginning of
PicoPad Wallet Notes.
My first real test was on vacation in Cabo San Lucas.
On the second day, I stuck a note on a stranger's car, warning him that
it was leaking radiator fluid. As we walked by an hour later, he smiled
at me while filling his tank, and at that moment I realized the true value
of keeping pen & paper handy everywhere you go, anytime you need it.

About the company
In addition to growing and expanding the PicoPad line, Regala plans to
continue innovating and bring additional novel products to market. As the
company name suggests, the focus is on improving everyday life with simple
solutions. Regala founded Everyday Innovations in the fall of 2004. Prior to
starting the company, he was employed at IDEO, a world-renowned design
consulting firm based in Palo Alto, CA. Regala earned an M.S. in
Mechanical Engineering from Stanford in 2003 and a B.S. in Mechanical
Engineering from Cal Poly, SLO in 2000.
